Quick update folks... The album is done!! We finished recording a couple of weeks ago and we're making a lot of progress in the mixing stage. Expect a release date to be announced within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, check me out at the Seaside Music Festival this Friday or at W.E. Fest in North Carolina next weekend. Dig? It’s Valentine’s Day and you have a hot date! ….. Update that is…
One week from today, on February 21, I’ll be returning to my favorite NYC haunt, ARLENE'S GROCERY on Stanton Street. I’ll be playing a few brand-new songs that you guys haven’t heard yet and I’ll be joined onstage for the first time by the very talented MICHELLE VARGAS for a few duets! For those of you who are not in the area, there’s a new website called MusiKville that will be broadcasting our performance live at www.musikville.com I’ll be hitting the stage at 7 PM sharp, so don’t be late.
I’ll be making a quick trip up into NEW ENGLAND the following weekend, first for a show at BORDERS in Simsbury, Connecticut on Friday, February 22, then hopping in the Zamboni and heading to Burlington, Vermont on Saturday, February 23 for a show at RADIO BEAN .
If I don’t freeze to death in Vermont, I’ll be returning to the airwaves, performing live on WNTI 91.9 FM (out of Hackettstown, NJ) at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 27.
I’ll be playing two shows on Thursday, February 28, the first at RAMAPO COLLEGE in Mahwah, New Jersey at 7 PM. Then I’ll be heading over to play for the first time at BAR 46 in Hackettstown at about 10 PM.
Finally, I’ll be playing at one of my favorite Pennsylvania venues, JOHN & PETER'S in New Hope, on Saturday, March 1 at 3 PM. I’ll be playing an extended set of original songs in the chronological order that I wrote them (opening with the first song I wrote, closing with the last song I wrote) for the rest of the afternoon.
So that’s a bunch of shows. Five states in just about a week. Hopefully I’m playing somewhere near you and you can make it out.
Oh, and just a quick announcement…. Mark your calendars for March 29. THE MEDICINE CHEST and I will be playing our next gig together at THE SAINT in Asbury Park for the HEY COLE ANNIVERSARY SHOW with lots of great bands. Tickets are available, but limited, so email me back if you’d like me to hold any for you. They’ll be $12 in advance. More info on this show coming soon.
